its not really an issue with how hot it gets like it wont hurt your car...yes a tune can turn them on sooner or a mechanical switch can also turn them on when you want them on...i would say the shroud isnt worth it...your cars just run alittle warmer

 

Ok... could have saved myself 225.00 'cause it doesnlt run any cooler in traffic than it did before... Live and learn.
