Since I am in the market for a Cobra, what do you all think about this one?

mods are pulley, short throw, I box springs, rear and upper control arms, bilstein shocks and struts, upgraded rear differential, upgraded alternator.

I know the bottom part of the backseat has been changed out but I can always get that after the fact.

Its got low miles and the convertible top is in good condition.....will be going to drive it today...

yeah the other thing is...the cobra emblem has been removed from the passenger side...dunno why but the carfax shows that its never been in a wreck...but I guess the owner couldve fixed it himself without reporting it.

 

Rear seat has a problem....Look at the lower!!! ....No damage observed along the rails in the engine pic!!!!

 

I'd never go by a Car Fax... it's only as good as the people reporting the work. I bet 75% of damage to cars goes unreported.

I wouldn't buy this car. Too many question marks.

 

Its a good thing people ask around on here, as most first time buyers would never notice those small things, like the fender emblem and such. That is very weird and would throw up some red flags... especially the rear seat being like that.

 

...Still worth looking at IMHO...

 

That cloth bottom seat cushion is terrible, LOL

The passenger side 'missing' cobra emblem could have just been swiped off by somebody who wanted it bad.

I'd still check it out...though the rear seat thing is really strange.....
