well thats gonna be tough you basically will have to do a complete engine overhaul and turn it in a all motor car...in the end would be just cheaper to spend 2k and get a centri or use eaton

as far a started mods intake exhaust gears tune and it will make a considerable difference!

another cheap way to add some power is a nice wet or dry shot those come pretty cheap from American muscle

well i want to stay away from nitrous never really been into that whole thing but i was talking to a friend he told me he could forge my internals for around $3k if i was going to force induct it but thats 3k on top of the cost for a super charger i just want to see which route would be best bang for my buck but as it stands now i have the bassani x-pipe already which intake would you recommend i mean it comes with a K&N i figured that was a pretty decent intake gears i was looking at 3.73's since it'll mainly be a daily driver

Between these two, you have your answer. N/A power out of a motor displacing 281ci will be costly. Also building an all motor car to the levels you're talking about will cause you to lose a lot of daily drivablity. Can it be done? Yes. Should you do it? Probably not. If I were you id be on the hunt for a good blower kit. You'll be much more pleases with those results. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

well what would be an ideal supercharger set up for this application i was looking into the kenne bell 2.1 but i am lost when it comes to the supporting mods to handle the boost i know the car stock should be able to hold up but i just want it to be as stable as possible without being through the roof expensive

yes you dont necessarily need to build your motor to throw some boost on it...as long as you have a great tune and keep it around 9psi youll get alot more power and still have a reliable DD...there are many cheap options...you could get a used eaton from a termi and build it you could get a centrifugal sc like vortech or paxton...you could get a twin screw like whipple or KB....a twin screw is constant power and instant boost...a centrifugal builds boost as you go up the rpms

supporting mods arent that much new injectors KB boost a pump for more fuel and a couple small things they make complete kits and theres also threads on how to build your own kit

Just rememeber that if your going to get any Whipple or a KB larger than the 2.1L you'll need to swap your engine's front dress to that off of a Termi so the pulleys match up.

Accufab is the way to from what I've read. The previous owner of my car installed the BBK unit. I've heard the BBK doesn't make as much gains.
