I recommend getting a tune. When I did the off road h-pipe and slp mufflers on my 97 cobra it felt slower at the bottom end. I'm wondering if by putting different mufflers in it will make it better. It might need a tune or some backpressure lol

For a catback and midpipe you don't need a tune, the idea of losing power when u run without cats and straight through mufflers is a myth.

the car is smart enough to account for the extra 02 going through the intake and out the exhaust and tunes itself...but it can only do so much so if you get full exhaust intake throttle body and whatever else you bolt on then a tune would be a good idea just so you can get the most out of the mods but it has no adverse affects except maybe a check engine light if you have no cats...
