i was under the impression that they were not factory supercharged until 2003. but a buddy is arguing with me about it so i want to know. thanks

 

since you havent gotten an answer i will shoot ya one. the cobra wasnt supercharged until 03. I heard another guy on a different forum and he assumed the 99/01 cobra was factory supercharged also. But you are right your bud is wrong.

 

No. Not all svt's are supercharged.

 

exactly what i said. hes trying to tell me my 96 svt isnt one cause its not supercharged.

Lol..gotta love clueless people. When I first bought my old 01 Cobra, I was showing it to some friends at a local hang out, and one guy I don't really get along with was like "cool I guess...but is it at least a SVT Cobra?" I was like yeah...then later when I popped the hood and he came over, he was like "thought you said it was an SVT" and everyone kinda laughed, then I had to educate him for a minute. Needless to say he kept his mouth shut the rest of the night.
