Default Turbo Cobra Build Thread

So some of you know that i have sold my 2.8L Kenne Bell and purchased a HP performance twin turbo kit and for those of you that dont well now you do. Here is a little update on the car and what mods i have done to it.

New Parts

Hp performance Twin turbo kit w/ 60mm garret turbos
Nazman Ported 03 Mach 1 lower intake w/ factory 01 cobra upper
Mach 1 Timing chain cover
Mach 1 crank pulley
QA1 K member
Upr Tubular A arms
Maximum motor sports bilstien coil overs
Stage 8 locking header bolts
Evenflow head cooling mod
03 Mach 1 upper and lower radiator hoses
Custom made k member dog bone for rear k member bolts
Full Tilt Boogie irs kit
Maximum Motor sports Bilstien Rear coil over kit
LPW IRS Diff cover
3.27/3.31 rear gears (havent decide which ones to use yet)
Rebuilt Stock Diff
Taylor battery relocation kit
Turbo smart e boost 2
accelronics 95 lbs/hr injectors
accelronics versa fueler
Steeda Bump steer kit



Parts that were already on the car

Glenns Performance Sleeper tank fuel system with triple 300 lph walbros
Fore Fuel rails
Mcleod Street Twin disc clutch
Liberty 26 spline input shaft
CP .020 pistons
arp head studs
arp mail studs
arp rod bolts
Steeda offset steering rack bushings
Billet Specialties street lites 15x4/16x8

driver side hotside piping


the kit came with a upr k member and there was no chance of it clearing the headers so i had to order a new qa1 from summit and start chopping it up to make it fit around the headers


k member and turbo headers on the driver side


and the passenger side


i will update more once i get more done on the car but next saturday it is going out to PA to get some of the hot side fabbed up and tuned so hopefully in the next couple weeks i will have dyno numbers

Nice. You may officially call me jealous.

Just curious, for my noob new knowledge of the day... Do the 03 Mach-1 / 01 Cobra intakes fit naturally on the Terminator engine, or do you have to do some work to make em fit? Are the different 4.6 engines across models all the exact same block, just with different valves, heads, cams, iron vs aluminum, whatever?

Have fun with the project, from what I've read about twin turbo Cobras, you're certainly going to like the results!

From what I have read the intakes bolt right up but I haven't got that far yet. I know the mach 1 and 03 cobra has pretty much the same heads.
