Default 04 cobra

Okay so I know that my last question didnt make sense well Iam a girl and I post the question for my husband that speaks English but not so great so I try to put in questions for him the best way I can so give me a brake if it don't make sense. Thanks so here it goes , he just put in straight axel and he wants to know what gears will work better in his car? They told him 3.73 or 4.10s? He sometimes goes to the track ( speed world). And he sometime uses 100 shot of nitrous ? Thank you for your patience if yu have any questions feel free to ask

i used to have 4.10's in my old non supercharged cobra and i hated them to much shifting and first was too short and basically useless

i currently have 3.73's in this cobra thats supercharged and straight axle...i love my 3.73's and will never do anything otherwise...many people on here will tell you to do 4.10's but im a 3.73 advocate haha

I'd stick with the 3.55's ...unless this is a "True" drag car! ....4.10's then!

another vote for 3.55s if it is boosted. Ive tried them all, and they are the best all around gear for most boosted mustangs. I like 3.73s for a N/A car though.

Yeah he's thinking 3.73s he said the 4.10s are too much shifting thanks for your response. But he wants to know what you guys think about running the 3.73s with nitrous?

traction would be a major issue unless you have slicks

355's are cool... but when I had " only " 417 rwhp, S/C'ed, I trapped out @ about 117mph. I would redline in 4th @ 122. I was running 373's at the time, which were perfect. If I had went with 355's, I'd have to change the rear tires everytime I went to the track, which I did not want to do, or stock tires, with 355's, I would of had to shift into 5th running the 1/4, which ain't cool. I think 373's are the best gear for the track. Hope this mish mash makes sense.

If he's spraying out of the hole/off the line... 3.27s-3.55s... imo. Eaton + Nitrous needs anything steeper?
