Well I finally di it. I took the car to Greg at Racers Edge Tuning and got my Whipple installed. Ended up with 545HP at the wheels. 542 2nd pull. I have been wanting to do that for a good 7 yrs. It's pretty cool having all that extra power and the gas milage is the same as it was as long as I am not whaling on it. I have to have greg adjust the idle it's a little fast and find out about a cooling option. He programmed the fan to come on at a lower temp I don't want any overheating problems.

Thanks. I don't have any pics right now but I will take some this week. I am going up to see him tomorrow to have the idle adjusted and I am going to see i I can ge the dyno chart. I am just tickled pink about this I have dreamed about doing this for SO long. I think I am having a slight identity crisis.

We'll her are some pics of my whippled cobra. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have this car it's been an amazing experience coming from a honda civic. What's also amazing is how popular these cars are after all this time.

My only suggestion....and it's just my opinion....get rid of all the stickers. You don't need any more than the stock badges to let everyone know you have any awesome car.

 

Agreed on the stickers. Beautiful cobra man seriously, also in your last picture we can all see your license plate
