Default Exhaust ordered!

Hey everybody,

Just ordered my exhaust parts for my '99 cobra

Mrt catted h-pipe, and slp LM1.... This setup should be crazy loud but preserve a good amount of tone too. cant run LT's here in NY, and wouldve went with shorties while im at it, but they provide minimal gain plus there's no selection. I didnt want to pay almost $800 for titanium JBA shorties. i can spend 800 in better ways.

Anyways, ill post videos up when i get it on, probably next week!

definitly!

Found out something cool today also. So if you want to hear a little story heare it goes, lol.
So i went to take out the other 2 mustangs out of storage today and me and the owner of the storage place got to talking and some guy started taking the covers off my cars and getting them ready for me to take home. the owner gets a phone call and walks away so me and the other guy start talking about how he liked how my 2010 sounded. I told him i have to get it inspected soon and im wondering if it will pass emissions because of an aftermarket x-pipe. He said they dont smog test, only check for cats and cel's. So i asked him if longtubes were legal and he said he basically can overlook it as long as i have a catted mid pipe because he will only check for codes and if the catalysts are "ready".

Long story short, im thinking i can put on longtubes here as long as i get a catted shorty midpipe? basically what he told me so im really considering it in the future. you dont know how excited i was to hear i might be able to put LT's on the cars. ahaha

Most of the time with the newer cars all the do is plug into the computer and check the codes. That's what they did with my freinds car and it has no cats they just checked for the sensors. Long story shot he put silicone on the sensors so they just read as being normal since they were encased in silicone and could not read... It passed emissions with flying colors haha.
