I am looking to modify a stock 98 Cobra with a Paxton Supercharger. This is going to be my first major mod and I was told that I would be pretty safe with this mod running about 8 lbs of boost. Is this accurate? How much of a HP gain can I expect with this Supercharger? Will this mod effect my engine lifespan very much, or should I be ok?

You'll be fine so long as you stay with that low boost.....you should expect about 40% of a power inc. i'd imagine

while everything else is stock....yes you can, it is really not safe to do but it is possible (you looking to do a pulley swap on the blower?)

This basically deteriorates your motor and the internals much much faster
