Hey guys, picking up a 98 cobra tommorow morning. Trying to get info about these,such as max horsepower and what issues to look for. I plan on lowering it down and possibly a supercharger since they are getting cheaper. But this is my first cobra,had a few gt before. Does a eaton supercharger swap right into these or am i better off with a vortech kit. I know there was something with the heads on these. And lastly would 4:10 gears still be good if its supercharged,thanks for any help,its been a while since my last mustang so havent been doing much reading on here

 

Did a little research and found eaton swap isnt worth it,and read the sticky about the heads. What do people usually do with these,can i swap heads from a later cobra.

 

full exhaust, headers, x or h pipe, throttle body, cold air intake, gears, cams, head cooling mod. far as the eaton goes you'd have to get the upper and lower intake for the eaton also the intercooler set up. better of going with vortech set up.
