I need some ideas what the noise my car is making at a cold start. Its a gringing noise (very similar to worn out brakes hitting the rotor). Sounds like its coming from the bottom and or back of the engine. Also, it goes away completely after about 2-3 minutes. And its not a throw out bearing. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

Pilot bearing maybe? It would match up with your location description.
