I have an 03 cobra and started hearing some loud noise at idle and while driving so I ceased all driving and just did frequent warm ups to running temp and shut her off. It was a metallic rattle and stopped when the clutch was pressed in. I ended up pulling the transmission to check the throw out bearing and to my surprise it was A OK. My grandfather said the previous owner had the cable to tight and he is wondering if it’s the clutch itself. I spun the input shaft once the tranny was out and the noise in the video is the same noise I was hearing just at a slower rotation speed. He says it’s normal for a tranny to make that noise but it just sounds way to identical. Now I am gonna have to pull the clutch but wanted to hear if you guys think this sound is normal in the video.
