I asked this in the pipes/boost section as well: Would it be more cost effective to buy a used eaton for around 600 bucks or to get a spec kit from vortech, procharger, or kb?

What would be required to mount the eaton to the older 4v motor? Would it be any more difficult then mounting any other screw type blower? I know I would need bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump, tune, etc, but what else would be needed to make it work? Would it even be worth the time? I am not wanting to run more then 6-8psi at the most as I dont plan on getting forged internals for a while... if ever.

I asked the same question a while back man. You would need more than just the s/c. Your going to need new heads. If you went with like 99-01 cobra heads it would only be a mild PITA but you could prob get like a KB for it. If u tried switching to 03 cobra heads its going to be a major PITA because there is alot of stuff u have to change. If your looking for big horsepower go vortech or another centrifugal. If you want a fun street car that can be awesome in the stoplights get the 1.5 KB lit for your carr. Should be making around 400 rwhp. Then throw some cams in it.

The main question I have is will the eaton bolt up to the manifold on the SN95's or will I need to swap everything out on the top side from a 99/01/03/04?
And are any mods necessary to make the heads from new edge cobra's/machs fit on the the sn95's? Anything need to be reloacted due to clearance or any of those issues?
