chip question

Default chip question

what kind of chip do you guys recommend? should i buy one of the hand held turners or get a custom chip? also which brand is the best.

I would get tuner so that you would have options as far as the tune goes. As for brands... you are on your own with that. I would just make sure that you get some dyno results to show what kind of improvements you should expect to see.

I like SCT. The shop I go to for Dyno's has both an SCT and Diablo rep they schedule to come in for their tuning, and after talking to they dyno guy he really convinced me to go SCT when I do. It is supposed to have a few more adjustable parameters.. but mostly due to the guy they have come in. Heard horror stories from about the diablo tech screwing up the tune on a lightning, but thats not the case for mos places. Really diablo or SCT are the way to go. Both are reputable company's with good customer support from everything I have read.

I WOULD DEFINITLY GO WITH THE SCT TUNER ITS A MORE IN DEPTH TUNE I ALSO USED TO RUN A JET CHIP IT WORKED WELL BUT U HAVE NO CONTROLL SCT U HAVE FULL CONTROLL ON THE PROGRAM SCT IS THE WAY TO GO

Have someone dyno and burn you a chip. If you don't know what your doing, you can kill your HP. Mod your car then go spend the 300-500 for a good tune.
