Yo peeps,

I got a layoff notice effective I think in the last week of March. 24 years with Boeing so I'm hoping to find a job elsewhere with the company. This may mean a move to another state. I'm on the Secure Border Initiative trying to secure our borders. Our government wants to shut it down or compete it to other contractors.

Hope to at least meet some fellow Stangers before "whatever" happens. I was so glad to call Dallas home after moving here this past March. Now, I gotta go somewhere else.

Screw Janet Napolitano. She probably drives a foreign car. I'm coming home from Springfield on the 24th instead of the 28th so I've got some time to hang that weekend.

Anybody close by to Richardson that wants to meet for some beers at The Fox and Hound? It doesn't have to be a big producton, just some beers. I could use that right now. Fox and Hound is on 75 and Campbell. I don't know my way around here so I picked some place that was close. It has pool tables too!

I've got other commitments 2/26, but would be available 2/19 (if anyone has ideas) or pretty much anytime in March. Sounds like the area of 75/PGBT etc., may be a good location.

Anybody going to the Texas Mustang Cruise in Houston on April 28-May 1? If so, it would be cool to get a group to head down there.

 

I sometimes drive in the Sachse area which is south of yall. My kids go to school there.

 

So, is there anything going on this weekend? Was hoping to get out and meet some other mustang owners!

And sorry to hear that Holly, that really blows. I was laid off almost three years ago from a 12 year job so I almost know what you're feeling! The F&H thing sounds like fun so let's make that happen for sure...
