Is there anyone here from the San Angelo area? A mustang club has been started we'd like if all local mustang enthusiast joined, so we could do cruises and go to car shows as a group.

 

I'm in Tx, but in the Austin area. When is the next cruise?

Ahhh....San Angelo, TX. I used to live there. Had a LOT of "fun" in the 6 months I was there. LOTS of drinking and partying. Good 'ol Goodfellow AFB!!! I used to LIVE at the Steel Penny Pub and Graham's back in the day. Ahhhh....the memories....and the STDs...LOL. (j/k on the STDs....though a few buddies got 'em.) I don't think there was more than a few full days when I was 100% sober back then.

 

Yea San Angelo can be pretty fun a group of mustangs down here is trying to start a club that's why I was wondering if anyone on here was from the area and adidasUNT8 we are thinking about cruising to San Antonio pretty soon if everything goes well

 

I'm down the road in Abilene and we have Big Country Mustangs which is a great club and an older more mature crowd. They meet the first Thursday of every month at China Bowl on 1st street @ 7 pm. You should get with them sometime.

There's abileneracingforums.com, and wtxracing.com if you're in to hanging out with a widely mixed group of cars. Just keep in mind that these two groups are heavily into street racing and if you're military then that's just asking for a lot of trouble. (Why I don't associate with them). Be sure to use your head around those guys.
