Default Yeah! New Section. Post about your new S650 here

I picked up my new 2024 S650 GT on Monday, September 18, 2023 in Shadow Black. Really enjoying this new car right now. Still some things to do - need to have the front bumper and hood repainted when I can get it back to the dealer - it picked up some chips and a scratch during shipping but the dealer is going to fix it. Then send it back to the PPF installer to re-do the PPF after the paint is done. I plan to have him do a white stripe at the same time (similar to what I had on my 2006 black convertible). And will probably remove the carbon filters in the intakes since it appears you can pick up a little with that. Other than that, will probably keep this one pretty "stock".

Traded in my 2019 EcoBoost with performance package, active exhaust, and red Recaro interior. This is a GT with performance package, active exhaust, magneride suspension, but no Recaro. I liked the Recaro seats and they got a lot of attention at shows, but missed the heated and cooled seats so opted not to get them this time.

I was told that only the cars with the performance package get the badge that says "performance". I hadn't noticed it until I got the car home and was taking this picture so didn't compare it to the non-performance package car on the lot.

You are the first one with a S650 GT, Jim. Can I get an autographed picture? It'll be worth big money when the UAW stops making them.

There's a lot of them hitting the dealers the last couple of weeks. They are starting to come in finally - sat in rail yards for weeks.

Mine was the first delivery at Gorno Ford. A second one is supposed to happen Friday. And they have several Mustangs on the lot and on the way.

Oh. Well in that case, regarding that autographed picture, let's just put a pin in it for now.

I am going to ask my granddaughter, who's a pretty good artist with a steady hand, if she can paint the letters for the "performance" on the badge. Maybe in red to make it stand out, although white is a good option since I plan to put the Shelby style superstripe on the car.

Nothing looks better than a clean and waxed black Mustang!
