Those are the Performance Package wheels that came on it from the factory. You can get the PP wheels in black (the default) or if you or the dealer knows the right code, you can get them in silver. My salesman never heard of them when I ordered the car until I showed him the code in the order book.

They don't get ordered for lot cars that much because of a combination of not knowing about the option or not wanting to add $200 to the MSRP for the silver which is pretty ridiculous since the silver paint doesn't cost any more than the black and certainly not $200. Just some gouging by Ford.

I think the silver or black wheels are the same price in other markets. Who knows why they do things like that. Same reason I guess they charge extra for Oxford White paint on foreign market Mustangs. Some focus group in Europe must have said OHHHH louder when they saw an OW Mustang and another group in the US said OHHHH louder when they saw silver PP wheels LoL.

Who did the stripes on yours?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do double blue stripes also. Are yours gloss, satin, matte, .... ? Are they metallic? Any bigger pics?

Local tint/graphics shop here in Henderson, NV.They are gloss blue/rasberry color. Check with a tint/graphics shop in your area, they should be able to handle it.

Don't say that! I have a new Edge coming in a couple of weeks! I do agree about how comfortable a new Mustang is! I thought my '08 was comfortable too! I drove about 400 miles one day & felt surprising good... & I'm old!
