What aftermarket air filter?
2016 GT Premium, 5.0 & 6 speed looking to replace the stock air filter. K & N is my 1st choice but need to know if it is an oil moist, or dry filter. Have heard that the oil moist filters can transfer the oil to the MAF sensor. Can't see a CAI for appx $400.00 for a 5-6 hp increase without a tune too, so just want to replace the air filter with a better one if the stock air filter is restrictive. If it is not, I'll just use the stock air filter.

oiled filtered will not affect the MAF if oiled properly. The problem occurs when you service the filter and over oil it.
a drop in, reusuable cotton filter like K&N is the best financial based option if you drive your car and change the filter when recomended.
paper filters usually last around 10-12K miles at most and are ~$10, a reusuable is ~$50 and last 1 million miles. After the 5th paper filter you are spending more than if you just bought the reusable.
also you will gain 3-7 hp with just the filter change.

Completely agree with that. Bonus, you don't have to spend a few hours cleaning your filter each time and carefully re-oiling the darn thing. I used them when I was racing, more trouble than they are worth.
