No danger of me tracking it, at least not seriously. Maybe when the local corvette club hosts their newbie autocross I'd like to try that, but it'll probably be more like Ricky Bobby post wreck (the 26mph scene) My GT came stock with 19s and I think the "starting with summer only rubber" idea makes sense.

Went from stock 235/50 all seasons to 245/40 summers and it is a world of difference. Dunlop durezzas. I can now get on the gas while exiting a corner and I can feel the rear end grabbing and pushing out of turns where it used to feel like it was just about out of grip. Night and day difference.

The tire size did give me a small drop, though, which I liked. A little over a half inch.

So, I actually fell off the wagon and went with the Ford Performance Track Pack. We've had a really mild winter here and I've actually put some miles on my mustang this year.
After 1,000 miles I am very happy I had this installed.
Next, tires...
