DM1’s 2015 GT build *from the very beginning*

With the gt350 valance installed I felt something was missing, the base front bumper was lacking, adding apr splitter didn’t seem to fix it from the online pics. I decided to go with the Steeda Q series front bumper, stock looking with some tweaks to separate it from the the rest. I took to the classifieds and found one, purchased it and painted it. Looks great I think.

At the end of 2017 when weather started cooling off I started going to the track a little more, we bumped up the shift points to closer to 7400 and surprisingly it didn’t really help. 1/4 mile and trap still about the same. Well decided to hit a local Dyno to see if we could find something obvious. Well we were greeted with a lowly 577whp and 467wtq and a really bad flatline at 6600rpm

After the Dyno I realized the stock manifold wasn’t helping, it was hurting. I picked a GT350 manifold locally from a guy going up to a Cobra Jet. And threw it on and tweaked the tune a bit and went back to the track. We were requarded with my first ever 10sec pass!!

Next up Lund did a little trans tuning along with a green Gates belt and a turbosmart blowoff valve and headed back to the track along with my buddy in his LSA supercharged Chevy SS. Achieved a new PB of 10.58 at 131.xx!
