Interesting Showdown Question
Terminator hands down will own both.
The Cammed GTO can be making anywhere from 400-440 RWHP depending on A4 or M6, and other mods. You should be around 450 RWHP, give or take. The GTO will have somewhat of an advantage from a roll, and you won't pull away like most will think.
If the Terminator is making over 500 RWHP, I would bet my left nut he has the Stock Eaton, that is ported to a Stage 3 or Stage 4, with a 2.76 or 2.8 Pulley. You can crank your boost up, or build your motor. All the Terminator needs to do is get an aftermarket Blower or Turbo.
Also, the Bullitt is the lightest, the GTO is the heaviest. Terminator still has a better powerband, and will pull hard top end even up to 160+ if the race lasted that long.
Do you have any more info on the mods on the GTO, and what else the Terminator has? Ever get a chance to hear about 1/4 mile times from either of them, do determine how good of a driver they both are?
Good match-up though. All great cars!

I pretty much agree with Grabber, but I would like to know if the GTO has aftermarket heads and intake and what tires everyone is running? Now going OT for a moment. Grabber will you be at Byron on Sat. and do you want a lane?
need more info on the Goat. for all we know he could have bored and stroked it out to a 408. if that's the case, he'll probably move out on everyone.
but if he's still at stock specs for bore and stroke, i'd say Termi up top, you second, Goat 3rd , but not far behind.

Well, I actually made other plans, and cannot make the track. Plus, I am trying to figure out why after bringing my car to CRE 3 times, I am still leaking fluid. Short story, I wanted an IRS brace, but, because I had a diff cooler, I couldn't have both. So, Joe disconnected the diff lines, and hung them up, slapped the brace on, and all was good. I kept leaking fluid. It was diff fluid at first, then the level was full the second time. Now, the third time, still leaking, but diff fluid is full. So, before I go to the track, I want to get to the bottom of this. I have a feeling it is one of my brake lines leaking, and somehow traveling onto the diff cover per the laws of gravity, and dripping.
Anyhow, make sure you get some good pics and vids of your stang Jon. I really want to see what you can do against some of the other guys that are somewhat cocky about their cars
I think we need some more information on all the cars and what kind of race you are talking about. There is a lot of variables that we are going to have to assume to make any kind of reasonable judgement.
you guys sure the Goat is heavier?
wow, wouldn't have thought that. with driver weights though, I'm 280 lbs
as for their mods, the Termi has new pulleys, stock blower, and some port/polish work done. He bought it already modified, and isn't really sure what all has been done. It just spun the tires on the dyno though, and he need better rubber and some weight in the trunk
no idea on the goat. It can barely idle from the huge *** cam installed, and his 0-60 acceleration looks fun. I can't even keep up right now. blows my doors off
true true.
this was just a ****s & giggles B.S. session. Hawaii doesn't have a track anymore.
And I'm not into the street racing scene. I get to the speed limiti extremely fast...but that is it. I rarely break 3,000 rpm

GTO is definitely the heaviest. They don't look like it when you put them beside your Bullitt, but they are. They have a very solid built frame, etc. It sounds like the Goat has a massive cam from your description. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss that car. He can make 400 rwhp from just a tune and full bolt ons. 40 rwhp can be had from a fairly mild cam on them, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's well above that. I'd bet money he has some other things done to his heads to support that big cam. The Cobra is most likely the stronger car, but if he's spinning on the dyno, it'll spin twice as bad on the street when he's actually got some weight to push. I say the Goat walks his *** due to this. 8-10 psi ought to put you around 450 rwhp or so. With your 3.73s and lighter car, you should be close to both cars. Traction will determine the winner imo.

I agree and disagree.
I make somewhat close to what the Terminator makes TQ wise, and from 40, I only spin for a bit on street tires. So, if it is from a Dig, then yes, I agree the Terminator will spin like crazy. From a roll, the Terminator will not have a lot of traction issues, and eventually hook. Once it hooks, as long as the spinning was not that bad, it will be over for the GT and Goat.

I can. At 40-50 MPH in 2nd around 3500ish RPM, I can spin the tires, but, I hook very quickly after the initial hit. Depends on the weather. If it is warm out, I won't spin a lot. If it is cool, or cold, I go sideways at 40-50 in 2nd and get bad wheelhop. At least I used to until this brace, but still get some in cold weather.
