I'd make sure you learn how to drift before you buy a nice car to build up... maybe buy a mx5 or rx7 and swap the engine for a v8 and work that up as you get better, then buy a mustang or whatever you're into then and just drop your built engine in... however, most of the guys on here are all about drag racing or auto crossing
