soo my parents got a Z4 a couple months ago and i guess since its a BMW and all they think it is just amazing. it's the 2.5i model and for some reason they love to say how it is faster than my 02 GT.

my mods - intake, 75mm tb/plenum, tune, o/r x-pipe, catback, 4.10's
im confident in my car what does everyone else think. idk what these z4's run.

lol but on a serious note, you should smoke it. my old roommate had exactly the same Z4 with the 2.5 engine....it's not slow but it wasn't really that fast at all

 

I agree. The 2.5 isn't all that much to worry about. There is one of those Z4s that is pretty quick though, seems like its up there with the 370z. I can't remember exactly.

The 2.5 made 218HP and weighs about 100 pounds less than your mustang. Doubt it could outrun you. The M model should be fairly quick with a 330Hp output.

 

you NEED to race ur parents and make them eat those words put a nice bet on it too like... they buy you dinner of ur choice or sumthin... OH BETTER YET! they pay gas for the next month, there ya go.

 

i've raced a z4 3.0si from a 50 roll with my 06 gt, and I pulled on it really hard. you'll run the z4 into the ground. you got better power/weight. i think the 3.0si would be a closer race for you seeing as it has 255-265 hp stock

 

i was driving my dad around all day and he said " you do anything to the engine? it feels faster" told him everything i had and he took it out the next day and finally admited its faster.... from what i heard from my sister he also had a blast in it getting the rear end loose and burnin some rubber haha still wanna race it.

 

haha man its always great to have the dad give into admitting his sons car is faster. my dad won't race me in his car, he would walk me really badly, but i still want to race him haha. just try talking him into a friendly race on the highway
