Default Thoughts on what I'd run?

Haven't ran my car at the track yet the way it sits. Here's what it has:

2003 Mustang GT
Vortech V2 blown/intercooled - about 9lbs
Cobra spec T-56 w/ alum driveshaft
Accufab TB/Plenum
3.73's
SLP catted midpipe, Magnaflow Magnapack catback

That's the important stuff that comes to mind.

It'd be run on Nitto Drags but regardless assume a sticky tire, thoughts?

On Nitto dr's, maybe 12.5-12.9. What kind of power do you put down?

I honestly don't know how much power right now. On the temp pulley I had on in 100 degree weather (!) it made 366 to the wheels. I made a steep pulley change and that coupled with cool weather it's probably making 400 at the wheels.

Yeah, it really depends. I have Nitto dr's, and they can be kind of tricky at the track. Your time is really dependent on your 60ft, and your trap speed is dependent on your rwhp & rwtq.

Only one way to find out.

You ever been down the track before?

I have a couple times. I've never done a burnout on the DR's so I've had crappy 60 ft's. Well, that plus inexperience.

My best before the blower was a 13.4 with a 2.1 60ft.

Don't feel bad about your 2.1 60ft. My best so far is a 2.0 60ft. with the Nitto's lol. I've only had them on for a couple of runs.

I have friends who pull in the 1.8's with there stangs on stock suspension and everything, so i'm sure we'll get there with some practice.

Put the Nitto's around 14psi. Do a long burnout, til smoke rolls for a few seconds. Then have a go at it. I was pulling 1.6's in my old car on 555r's. Granted, I was on a 15" wheel.

When i first ran with no knowledge of the track i still had the 29 psi in the nittos. I did a nice burnout and i still had a 2.6 sixty foot and ran a 14.2 haha. I was so embarassed.

I think the OP's car is capable of a mid-low 12. Not saying it'll happen, but the power should be there.

I think you'll be a little over 12 flat with a 1.7 '60. I think you could trap around 115.
