What year is the rex? I'm trying to firgure out how he's only making 260awhp on a vf39 @ 21psi..... I'm thinkin its a 2.0.....

It's an 02 wrx, and yes it's a 2.0. His friend had an 06 with very similar mods, made just a tad more hp, and ran a 12.4@112 with stock weight. However that had the 2.5 and it came into boost 1000rpm quicke and had almost 300ftlbs.
Th power is so low because it was on a known low reading mustang dyno. On another awd dynamometer he'd prolly be around 280/290 area.

Just a quick question:

If an AWD car puts down xxx to the wheels, what disadvantage does it have on the higher end?

yea he should deff be more closer to 300whp at 21psi..... man that vf39 is maxed.... when they go up over 20psi things start to burn up lol..... what kinda numbers did the 06 rex make to get that 12.4?

I really can't see a stock turbo (let's just call it an STI) trapping 112MPH or higher....

I can however see one trapping that high that is that ridiculously gutted... IDK, too many variables to really say, if you guys go from a low roll I think he will roll out on you and then you will slowly close the gap

The 06 that trapped at 112 made 264 whp on the same dyno, Thats how you know it reads low lol. And I believe the guy about it he's not a ricer . He sold the wrx for a sprayed 3rd gen with a 383. It runs a little faster.

But I should have an answer about the race soon, we get out of work at 4 . It's not lookin like there'll be a video yet tho.
