I'm sure they'll find a way to squeeze some more power out of it. How much is the question and only time will tell. All this speculation is kind of silly.

The engine is most likely maxed, but I'm sure the suspension has tons of room for improvement, almost always does. So if its a mid 12 car on stock suspension and street tires, it ought to be a low 12 to high 11 car on a suspension geared towards drag racing with DRs.

What is the final ratio on these things? I'm guessing its optional up to a 3.73 gear?

Guys don't you think the decision between a brand new 2011 and a lightly used GT500 is a tough one? The latter comes with Brembos just like the 2011 w/the track pack. It also has a larger engine ready to take a whipple and turn up the boost.

Seems like a tough choice?

No way I'd opt for the '11 GT over a GT500.

Have I lost my mind by saying I think I'd rather have an 03/04 powerplant as long as it comes with the blower vs. the new 302?

Cobra > ?

Sort of. Both will carry a similar price tag, before dealermarkup...I would have to drive the two first. The newer one has a better looking interior, but the GT500 can handle a lot more power.

They are both fast enough though.
