Is that piledriver or would it be pilesdriven?

Nice breakdown Taurass. I couldn't figure out where Einstein was getting 240-250Hp. That would be really low for a 2005 to 2010 GT. I guess maybe he was using numbers from a 2V.

Mishri I understand the basic loathing for a riced out.....of all things GrandAm. Be nice, don't play too harshly with the kiddies.

just to clear things up, I was using a corvette as an example... I guess it just got taken too literally from there.

my head hurts from all the fanbois in this thread. If having a fast car is the only reason you have to express confidence to another person then I feel sorry for you. I'm not directing that statement to any one person, but you know if it applies to you.

Mishri brah.

I honestly think as it sits you are pretty much a driver's race with a very lightly modded C5Z. Your trap was about the same as Jake trapped in that car when he made his attempts. It's pretty darn close.

That said I would always put my money on you mainly because even though that Z traps about the same as you - that particular car was always driver limited and could never launch worth a crap.

Fact is we just don't see that many fast street cars at our race track. It's dominated by old school tubbed out muscle cars with a metric buttload of mods on them that get trailered in there.

Its not his fault really...the new 5.0 group has been making outrageous claims for months now. It's just a sickness he contracted when he bought the new car.

Only one way to find out. Mish run that B!tch. Do your D/A calulations and see whats up. Stigs got lightly modded C5Z numbers to compare to already already.

Track opens April 14th, i plan on being there. Hopefully it isn't too busy and i'll get a bunch of runs in. Really though, I expect it to either be rained out or so busy i only get 2 or 3 runs in. Seems to always get rained out till the end of July. my CAI+Tune+Drag radial run DA corrected to a 12.2@117 i believe? (13.1@108 actual, the 2002 z06 went 13.6@105).. i was having trouble launching the car, 2.1 60's. i went from 3.15 gears to 4.10s, added intake and exhaust since then and a better tune. a 3800 torque converter would be pretty sweet, but wont happen this year unless i come into several thousand...

Yeah you have 11s easy if you can get some good 60fts... Just a matter of trap speed at that point and just how far into the 11s you get. Curious to see results.

yeah, and everything else.. I'm racing eerrrybody up in here.

really, the way the call out would work is if I ever heard him talking about his car i'd be like cooool! wanna race? then I expect he'd ask what I have (unless someone already told him) so just a mustang 5.0... see how it goes from there.

I also want to race someone.. only street race i've had in this car was with a fox body 5.0 from about 20-55mph.... and it wasn't really a race.. i let him take the hit and then i chased him down, but not quickly, he had some stuff...

anyway, i doubt ill ever have a reasonable chance to even talk to him about cars... i dont work with his group and dont really talk to him... actually i noticed even the other people that work with him dont really talk to him.. hmmmzz...
