Default Is it worth it?

So I have a 04 Mach 1 stick and I have the SCT x-cal 2 with tunes from my old V6. The only mods I currently have is a CAI and Borla exhaust... Would it even be worth it to buy a tune with so little mods?

depends on what your goals are i think. if you plan to keep moding and upgrading then prob not right now. if you want to keep it stock then sure, do it and get the most out of the car.

i only have CAI, T/B+plenum, catless x pipe and catback and im going to get a dynotune because im not going nuts with this car. im not going f/i ANYTIME soon so i figured i would get the most out of my mods now. plus i have heard the stock tune is VERY conservative. normal gains (on a GT) have read maybe 5-15hp?

noticed you are in MA, where you located?

In my opinion, most vehicles on the road will benefit from a performance tune in one way or another,be it better throttle response or more power, and you always have the option of custom tuning down the road as you mod the car more heavily.

where you going to get the tune done? I was leaning toward Performance Dyno in Concord NH

he can do 3 tunes (performance, economy, valet...and put stock on) and dyno pulls and install my sct chip for $210

i'm pretty much done with mods for a good while. so i figure a tune in the near future may happen. i already have a CAI 75mm TB/plenum, O/R x, and catback
