Default Diablo Predator question?

Hi All

Just purchased a Diablo Predator for my 05 GT but when plugged in I can't get any display to come on at all, I then noticed its for a 2007 Mustang, should it light up at all being plugged into my 05 even if it doesn't work or is it likely to be bad?

Model number is : U7145

Hope someone can advise

Thanks

Stu

You've got 2 problems here...

1. If it wont even power up, there is likely a blown fuse or bent Pin in the OBDII port or connector.

2. A U7145 is for 07-09 Stangs, and will not work in an 05-06 model.

Thanks Mike

At this point I am just trying to gauge if it works at all, shouldn't it light up being plugged into an 05 or will it work as expected! Just need to figure it out as I bought it used with a Supercharger and nothing I bought arrived as I expected.

Thanks

Stuart

Thats what I am addressing in #1.

It should power up in ANY 96-up OBDII vehicle.

What kit was it?

Is this a U7145 or some VR7145 or PC7145 variant?

Hi Mike

Thanks for the help , it says on the back PC7145 I belive as the label is worn, I finally got it working this morning after I took it apart and reseated the power cable so thats good news.

I plugged it in and it said my car was not in there database and it gave me a code to supply but I take it this still won't work with my 05?

Thank you again

Stuart

Hmm.

When this tool first powers up, it will show the bootloader, what does it say? (booting_XXXXX)?

Also, please go to options/troubleshooting/show calid and tell me what it is.

Hi Mike

Says U7145

Then the Cal ID: FBHR2G4

As I can't fully test this on my 05 is there anyway to see if its locked on another car or if its good to use?

Thanks again
