This is my first post, so I hope it's not too newbish.

I've recently picked up an '07 GT/CS. I have quite a few plans, all of which start with a CAI and tune. Other than a Pypes exhaust system, I don't think there have been any other "visible" mods done by the previous owner (bought from local dealership).

Here's my issue...

There's an SCT badge stuck to the passenger-side dash, which will be removed shortly. I have no idea whether or not there's actually an SCT tune loaded. How might I go about determining this? If there IS a tune loaded, what issues (if any) will this cause when I pick up my own tuner? It's probably worth noting that I'm more than likely going to pick up a Diablo tuner since that's what the local shop uses (Shelby American).

 

Well, chances are, even if there is an SCT tune, the Predator or Trinity will save it as the 'stock' tune. Problem is, this could lead to other issues down the road.


Either have the car reflashed at the dealership, or let the tool read the 'stock' tune out of the car, and export it and email it to me, I can tell you if it is stock or not
