When you want to unlock a Diablo handheld, I have gotten that you need to restore original backup?

What would the screen say if I plugged it in to my car when I think the stock tune is loaded on the car?

I just want to make sure the stock tune is on the car, and he handheld is unlocked. There a way to plug it into another car and see if it lets me load a tune on in which case it would verify it was unlocked?

Depends on the revision, what is on it?
What does it say under options/show last tune written?

 

uhh just an email 93 email tune. I will have to plug it in again, the car that the handheld was for is for sale so I'll have to grab it and throw it on the car.

 

Under Options...Show last tune written is only lists "Original Backup"

when it firsts comes on the screen up top shows "Predator v.9r07b

So I'm assuming that means it's unlocked?

Is it the case some else could put the tune on another 99-04 GT? If one of my buddies wanted to borrow it for a while.

 

Yes, it will work on any 99-04 GT.
