Default Airaid + bama tune = ?

Who has this setup and how do you like it and any problems shorterm longterm? Not skeptical about the CAI but the tunes...im a little concerned. Too many reviews saying rough idle doesnt run right etc.

No one? Sounds like another find out for yourself project. Hope this fairs better than the hushpower axlebacks.

Bout to find out. I am going to run it with just rhe cai 1st. Then with the 87 tune and go up from there. We'll see if this particular combo was worth the coin.

5.0Racer: I am going to purchase this combo myself. I talked with the guys at AM and they recommended it to me over the others because of the power gains and the quality of the Airaid unit. Plus, AM is giving the #8 cylinder warranty with this purchase. Did you install yours yet?

Yeah, I had a last minute thought about going with the Trinity so I am going to talk to the AM guys and see what they say. Keep me updated on the install and your overall thoughts if you don't mind.

Worth every penny. It does as advertised. Definitely increases performance noticeably. It works. I'm a skeptic turn believer. The air raid system is a nice quality peice and the bama tune def works.

The car wants to jump out and move. Power seems endless. I would recomend getting one of the tunes w/o increasing shift firmness for dailt driving. Make sure you install the MAF sensor in the right direction and remove the inner sleave that has a do not remove tag if you are going to install tune. And install weather stripping before installing the filter. Def recommend this from AM and BAMA tunes def eork. Its not a false claim. They have done an excellent job. The hardest and most time consuming part of the install .... is finding where to put the nice metal plaque that they give you. Lol
