Default Need help with tune.

I had Ford Racing 4:10 gears installed on my 2001 GT with auto and had BAMA rewrite my tunes for the gear change , i followed the install the they sent me as how to get them onto my SF3/X3 and everthing worked great ..

but my issue is i am off by 12mph at (2301rpm) as it reads 77-78mph at that rpm where i should be at 65mph. i talked with a BAMA rep already about it and he checked my tunes and said it was adjusted for 4:10 gears and i should be off no more then 2 mph at the most.

When you download the new tunes to the SF3/X3 what happens to the old tunes as it didn't say anything about removing them first before installing new tunes as it shows my new ones on the tuner by the title i wrote for them but it's like i still have my old 3:27 gear tunes and why i am 12mph off.

Convex,

Once you upload the new tunes, you overwrite the old ones that you had. If you ever want to go back to the original tunes you have you just need to contact Bama and they'll email them to you. Any tunes that are emailed to you can be saved on your computer and used another time!

It's weird that your speedo is so far off after we verified it was adjusted for the gears. I feel like there's some info that one of us is missing, so lets look farther into it. Shoot me a PM with your order number and I'll have my lead tuner Mike Wilson take a look and see if he notices anything weird. I'll even have him give you a call and trouble shoot a few things with you. Hopefully this will get everything resolved!

I think i have found the issue and after talking with some of the Bama team it got me thinking, i download speedometer for my iphone 4 and check it with my new truck and it was dead on ..so after looking at the gear chart on AM for rpm values 2500 rpm = 65mph with speedometer ,, which means i have 4:56 gears and not 4:10 like i bought so BAMA is sending me new tunes for the 4:56 gears.. now i guess i need to talk with Ford Racing to see what can be done as i never wanted that much gear in my car.
