Default old tune file

I have an SCT x3 that has 1 tune file on it for my totalled V6. i received my new BAMA tunes for my GT yesterday and i followed the instructions that were included. when i got to the part where i can upload the tune files, i noticed that file 1 was already used. If i upload the BAMA tune, will it overwrite the existing tune in file 1?

yellowneck86,

Yes when you upload your new tunes its going to wipe out the old tunes from your V6. Obviously you won't need those anymore, however if you want to keep it backed up you can save it back to your computer!

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions! Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Dan & yellowneck,
You cannot download a tune from the x3 back to a computer. However the new BAMA tune, since it comes by email, can be saved to your PC or laptop in case you ever need to reload it on to your x3. You should have 3 slots for tunes on the x3, you can upload your email tune to any of the 3 slots and it will overwrite whatever is in that slot.
The x3 will store your stock tune, which you can download to your PC or laptop.
