Default Used SCT tuner question

I am considering buying a used Bama SCT tuner for my 2013 gt, its loaded with 3 Bama tunes. Question is will I be able to use these tunes on my car or will they be VIN specific?

My understanding is they will be VIN specific and you will have to register with Bama to get tunes for your car.

I think it is $150 for the tunes for life.

Use that to your advantage when negotiating the price of the tuner.

I would just buy a new one man, unless you're getting a really good deal on the used one and it's unlocked.. The tunes on there are not vin specific but they are computer specific (you enter your car's computer code every time to get new tunes).

Used parts is always a great way to get an awesome deal. But when it comes to Tuner's, sometimes it's actually cheaper to purchase the device brand new. Mainly because the tunes are VIN specific so you will have to buy into our Free tunes for life program for a one time fee of $150 when you don't buy the device from us or someone else' tune program etc..

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

SCT is great man.. There's nothing too them..

Free tunes for life is simple, once you buy the tuner from AM you're automatically enrolled. An email will be sent to you for you to provide your vehicle information and what mods so they can send the tuner out with tunes already loaded.. Then everytime you want to get a new tune, go to their site and add the tunes for life to your cart (it's $0). And the same process will happen and it'll take a couple days for you to get an email with the new tunes and instructions for loading them onto your tuner.

That sounds great. Every place should have that. No more 300 dollar revisions.

I bet they can provide you the same custom tunes for the Trinity, without having to buy a new tuner...worth a shot
