I am looking at mustangs at the moment and want to get a tune shortly after.

So who gives free updates?

Lets clarify a few things....

Most any tuner you buy today is updateable online, and those updates are free.

Tools like our inTune or Trinity offer the option of getting custom tunes done, and places like American Muscle offer the devices with Free tunes for life, is that maybe what you are specifically asking about?

Thanks

AM is the only one I am aware of that offers Free tunes for life when you purchase the tuner from them.

Steeda will update your tune if you purchase a product from Steeda.com that requires an update.

We have a proven track record of making great tunes and have a lot of positive feedback on the boards.

If you purchase a part else where and it requires an updated tune ... then it will run you $99.00.

Best Regards,

TJ

also one more question. does a 2012 mustang need an aftermarket wideband or is it programmed into the ecu and can read out through a datalog?

Yes, your car has 2 factory widebands.

Tools like our inTune or Trinity allow for logging the widebands. Trinity will even allow you to monitor them in real time while you drive down the road
