custom tune for road courses
Installing a supercharger in a 2007. I am going to need a tune for track days on road courses. Mostly time trails no all out racing. I don't want to push the motor I 'm going to keep the boost low, air fuel ratio / timing curve conservative and going to need a linear throttle control.
1. My question is, can I get a good tune without having to put the car on a dyno? Can this be done with a email tune?
2. I've also heard about remote tuning is this a worthy alternative?

If you are getting a super charger (or any type of forced induction) it's best to get a Dyno tune done.
Every car and environment is different so while a mail order tune is great for most bolt-on mods, a Supercharger can implode your engine in short order with a bad tune or a tune that's generically written. Not knocking the great tuners out there but even they will admit a dyno tune is the best way to get the most reliable HP out of your car when you have FI.

Plenty of tuners set up street cars for safe drag racing power, kits not that much different that tuning for a road racer, more attention will need to be paid to various temps with a road racer, but its very doable.
I would recommend dyno tuning in this case as well.
Thanks
