So I purchased this intake, but not the tune yet. What I was wondering though, since it says a tune is required, is what'll happen if I don't tune the car yet, but install the intake? I know the difference between this one, and the one that doesn't require one, is a piece inside the tube that reduces airflow.

Without a custom tune telling the computer how to handle the extra air, you can end up with the engine running in a lean condition, which can lead to severe engine failure.
