clutch
im looking for a clutch for my '95 v6 and i was wondering what kind of clutch i should get. I live in new york city and it would be a pain in the *** buying a dual plate cuz the grip is ridiculous, anything that snaps back too quick is a pain also because of the stop and go driving.

RE: clutch
Yes, Go with a Ram Clutch Ram Clutches Call them up and ask for Mike, tell him your application, what kind of driving you will be doing and if you want it to be stock or better then stock. Also if you plan to do any mods then he will recomend something for you.
I just got my 11" SVT Cobra Clutch, they are good clutches, this one is rated well over 500ftq. The last one I had was a Spec Stage III rated at 500ftq. They are a very good clutch, but mine was defective and I blew it apart with only about 225ftq. Ground the hell out of 2nd gear too because the clutch didnt disingage correctly.
But RAM is your best bet, and they are on the East Coast so it should be pretty fast shipping. What you will have to do is find a website or a magazine that sells RAM clutches. Summit will have just about everything you need, but you might have to have them drop ship the product to get it in an reasonable amount of time, thats only an extra $10 dollars and its worth it... My parts would not have shipped untill the 22nd and here it is the 18 and I got them 2 days ago. Summit is also free shipping which really helps out because these are heavy objects.
Good Luck.

RE: clutch
Well its going to be $50 for the heads, then $80 for 3 passes on the dyno, then whatever the price it is out here to go to the track and run Test and Tune. Then I install the heads, cam and intake and go to the dyno again which is another $80, then I have to go to the track again which is probably $20-90 bux (I say $90 because it was that much for a Mustang event last year) and then I just sit down and write the review article and the Tech Article. Then a month after that I will write an update article.
So in all its going to be $210 for the parts and dyno time. And $40-180 for the Test and Tune times.... Oh and about $50 for the splitport F150 Intake manifold I need. I will have to run without a hood for a while I guess untill I get the Cobra RR hood, which is about $200-$250. The F150 intake is way larger then the stock intake and the Cobra RR 4" cowl barely covers it. The Cobra R 3" cowl needs to be modified with a cut, scoup or buldge to clear the IAC.
Then I have to buy head gaskets and new ARP-L19 head and intake bolts so another $30-$60 for a quality head gasket and $20 for the bolts.
So grand total is going to be $550-720 if my numbers are correct And of course my personal time involved.
