Which ever way you go, make DAMN sure thet are certified C.A.R.B. legal. Oh..and stay away from MAC's.

keep the factory headers. JBA,MAC or BBK will not give really any noticable gain in power. maybe 1-3hp tops

also don't waste your money on Flowmaster 40's. get Force mufflers from www.summitracing.com part#FRC-5202 for 2.5" exhaust

Force mufflers sound the same and are built the same as flowmaster 40's and they are only $29.88/muffler opposed to roughly $70-$80/muffler for the Flowmasters

I have mac long tube headers, mac h-pipe with high flow cats, and mac mufflers.
and they are great ! the car sounds good. my car is a manual when driving it i can feel the power increase espeacially when double clutching the car kicks you back harder.
and i will say it sounds like a gt until you get to the higher rpm then the v6 comes out but with any exhaust you put on there it will do that just because the v6 rev faster then a v8. but what ever you choose good luck.

Long tubes are not legal where he lives. Cali won't certify them as emissions legal.

Ditch the h-pipe.. Either run no crossover, or get an x-pipe... My vote goes to no crossover.

I vote for the x pipe, sounds the best, and I vote for either mags or borla GT cats, and no headers unless you're doing severe engine work.
