It's very very very easy. About a 1/10. There are step by step instructions online to help, i think www.mustangworld.com may have them.

And I'm not sure what year stang you have, but you should already have a Y pipe. You have two cats, that the Y pipe connects to, then the single exhaust pipe comes out the bottom of the Y...get it? You'd need an H or X pipe to make a true dual exhaust. Honestly, you're gunna have to toss that Y pipe if you want it to sound decent.

Dump the Y..it won't be TRUE duals with a Y-Pipe. I prefer the X-Pipe. IMO it sounds better than the H-Pipe on a 6er. AND..if you look at it..you get better flow with an X rather than a H pipe...X pipe had no 90 degree angles.

My setup was custom done. $600.00 complete. that includes custom X-pipe and the Flowmaster 40 series mufflers.
Check www.pypes.com for some deals

I had a custom H pipe fabricated, so it was very cheap. Plus, I'm close friends with the guy who was doing it. I prefer H pipes.
