Yeppers. The Essex motors are torque machines, haha. Going S/C; or even just new heads/cam/intake can get you places you would never expect with the 3.8/9 six shooters.

 

Yea I can beleive that because look at me, I have 125.4 freakin damn hp, but 230lbs of torque, I have new racing tires alright, and I loose traction off of the line on dry pavement, WHAT THE HELL, how do GTs put up with this crap, I mean seriously, how in the hell am I ever going to win a race when all I do is spin out for 7s, or when I hit 60 mph, then shift out to like 50 mph, this is just freaking nuts. Damn early sn95s and their peak torque at like 2750 rpms, I'm there in like 2 seconds, come on, at least let me hit peak torque at around 3600 rpms so I can get some traction.
