A kid at work wants to sell me his Cobra rims. The only problem is that they're 17x10.5 in the back and 17x9 in the front. Will these fit on my 1998 Mustang? Or are they too big?

 

Yup they will fit fine.

yeah they will fit. i think all wheels from 94-04 are interchangeable. correct me if im wrong

 

Yes they are, its just I'll be going from 15x7 to 17x10.5 in the back. It just seems huge.

I just bought the 4 CHORME Cobra R Wheels for $350. NO JOKE. The rear wheels had about 60% tred left. They were BFGoodrich KDWS. The rear tires are 315's!!! Holy crap. I'm getting the front tires mounted and balanced on Monday. I'll post some pics then.

I just got the same rims you did.245's in the front 315's in the back. They fit perfect.

I only have the back ones mounted now, but I can feel a HUGE difference in weight and the driving style of the car. It really does slow the car down, but its slow anyway. (No offense to anyone) My car is all looks now.

 

If you get new rims...and say its only an inch longer in diameter or wutever...would you have to get new tires?
