I got my intake off Ebay and its been on my car almost a year. Never had a problem with it at all. I can hear the air being sucked in and my car runs a lot smoother in the hot weather than it did when I didn't have it on. You won't notice a major difference in HP but I felt that my ride runs smoother.

Its a risk to take though, some knockoffs are good and some have issues with fitting properly.

I have an ebay intake, but it's a good one and not one of those cheapies. I say get yours from autobadges.com, or K&N, depending on what look you want. And to answer your question, yes it adds hp and torque, no it doesn't add that much, maybe 2-5, I'll say 3.5 hp, for your year, but the torque gains can be fonominal, 03yellowpony can give you some info on the torque gains, but I'm gonna say you could get up to 10lbs of torque, remember, it's the torque that pushes your car, not hp. Yes it will make your exhaust a hair bit louder, but not much, like on a scale of 1-10, it would be a 1.5.

Yes, maybe 5 miles per tank depending on how you drive you may get up to 10 miles per tank, but don't expect more than 1 mpg at the very best.
