Default 2002 mustang

im going to see a 2002 stang for sale today , but it has like 77k miles on it , is it alot? and hes selling it for 9,000$ i could get him to decrease it , he says its in excellent ocndition and its stock , but automatic gear

that seems like high milage, my 02 just hit 57k, automatic gear? you mean transmition? is it a coupe or a vert? seems like that would probably get you a vert, or before someone else says it, a 99 or 00 GT

auto tranny , coupe. though it has some appearance mods like what he says , suchs as 'chrome rims' hope their bullits but im concerned about the mileage how long does the essex motor engine last for? im scared of getting some problems cause of the high mileage

essex after 96 (fixed the headgasket problem) will last for quite a while, there are a few people on here with 140k plus,

edit: both the engine and tranny will last for a while more IF they have been properly maintained

the guy also has a 05 v6 , but call me crazy if u ant but i think that the 99-04 looks much better , it is the best mustang ever (looks).

so if i can talk to him for a better price do u advice me to get it? or shall i look for something with lesser mileage? the problem is that i dont live in the states...so we dont have like 10 stangs in every show room lol

plus , the 2005 looks so fugly without the foglights (i know u cant put that pony package grille) and the interior might look nicer than 2002 but its more plastic.......20+ hp? who cares really.

I bought my 04 Mustang 5speed about 3 weeks ago with 19kmiles on it. got it for 12 grand with a FORD certified warranty.
Hubby wanted to buy me a left over 05 stang, but i like the 04 alot better
