Does Anyone know...

if you get those black-out, smoked headlight deals, are they illegal?
I live in North Carolina, and I cant find any laws against it. Is it an officer discretion thing?

I think you'd be ok because the arn't all that dark, unlike the black out covers you can get[:'(]
