just wondering if i should get the flowmaster 40 series or the super 40 series. is it worth the extra money or not. besides the sound what difference would i experience?

go to summit racing and get force #5201, exactly the same as flo's but half as cheap

 

i got flows on mine...sounds pretty damn good for a 6'er especially when you slowly climb to 3500 rpms but its your call. You lookin at dual exhaust or just stickin with the single?

 

im looking to go with duals. both of them are flowmaster, i just wasnt sure whether or not there was a difference between the two.

 

Oh well i have thr original 40's on mine and they sound great. Im not sure the difference though sorry.

 

thanks i was leaning towards the 40s because it seams to be what everyone else is sayin, and from what i heard they are awesome sounding.

 

Force Mufflers from summit racing sound exactly like Flowmaster 40's but are $29.88/muffler

they are built just as good if not better than the Flowmasters also. i am replacing my old flowmaster 40's with the Force mufflers

part# FRC-5201 for 2.25" exhaust
part# FRC-5202 for 2.5" exhaust from www.summitracing.com

it just doesn't make any sense to pay for a flowmaster when you can get 2 Force mufflers for the price of 1 Flowmaster
