How much boost?
How much boost from a turbo or s/c can a stock 99' v6 stang take and still be totaly worry free of problems?

14psi with a good tune and proper injectors and SVT focus fuel pump and SCT big air MAF is fine

First off, i wouldn't run a car stock w/ forced induction....yes you can, but why??? If you do, maybe around 6 to 8psi, but like the other guy said, upgrade fuel and rear end, then you can push it up a bit more(10-12) or maybe higher...then again if its your daily driver, i wont be pushing the psi so high...MPG sucks[:@]

Well it sounds to me like if I get a turbo or supercharger I dont need to spend the ungodly amount to get forged internals because 8-10psi would be plenty for me.
Also....I assume you can adjust how much boost/psi you want within seconds inside the car? Or am I wrong here?
